Biography
French World War II veteran, known as Mémé Guerini.
He was a leading figure of the Marseilles of the post-war environment, with his brother Antoine Guerin. Barthélemy Guérini was sentenced to twenty years in prison in 1969 for complicity in a murder.
On 4 March 1978, after more than ten years in prison, and suffering from rectal cancer, he was released on parole. He died on 1 March 1982 in Montpellier, France.
