Biography
French civil servant, he studied law at Paris University and entered "Sciences-Po" and ENA. Formerly chief of Nicolas Sarkozy's staff, he served as Minister of Interior (2011-12). Surnamed "the Cardinal" or "Prime Minister bis". In jail for two months at Paris Prison de la Santé because of illicit financing, he was freed on 9 February 2022 in bad shape.
