Source Notes

Sy Scholfield quotes "The Ross Gregory Story" by David Firth (South Melbourne: Lothian, 2003), pp. 3-4, in which Firth cites the birth certificate for 27 February (no time of birth), a date Gregory used as his birthday. Other sources give a birthdate of 28 February and Firth speculates that Gregory was born around midnight between the two dates.
