Biography
Italian-Sardinian industrialist, owner of several daily newspapers. He stated that he paid the ransom for Silvia Melis, the young woman kidnapped by terrorists in Sardinia at the beginning of 1997. The family had been blocked by anti-kidnapping laws, but Grauso stepped in to effect the rescue. After nine months of imprisonment, she was liberated on 11/11/1997.
