French soldier in World War I, who served with the 18th Company of the 5th Battalion of the 313th RI from August 1914 to December 1917. He was wounded in action in June 1918 and undertook convalescence at Puy hospital until late October that year.

After the war, he became a farmer, gardener and steward of the castle Fonthaute at Cazoulès, Dordogne. He died there on 31 October 1972.
