Biography

Brazilian sculptor, known as “Mestre Fernando,” who dedicated his career mainly to the carving of sacred works in wood. He was also a painter and a professor of technical design.

After a career in the arts lasting more than 40 years, he died on 22 October 1998, aged 66, at his home in São João del Rei.
