Biography

Belgian Roman Catholic monsignor, made Apostolic Prothonotary by the Pope. He was head of the UCL branch in Leopoldville, he made Lovanium the most prestigious university on the African continent and he established its first nuclear reactor. He was made Dean of the UCL science faculty in 1971. He died on 5 June 1998 in Brussels at age 77.
