Biography
French actor, a member of the Comedie-Française.
In 1914, with the help of Madame Rejane he played the role of Lemeunier in "Georgette Lemeunier" and Don Sallust in "Ruy Blas." He also acted in many films, directed by André Calmettes, René Leprince, Albert Capellani and René Plaissetty.
Called up during the war, Claude Garry was seriously wounded in the foot and thus demobilized. He took refuge near his family in Grosrouvre, a small village in Seine-et-Oise. He died there of pulmonary congestion on 1 August 1918.
