Biography
Spanish architect whose most notable works are the Círculo de la Gran Peña along Gran Vía in Madrid and the refurbishment of the Palacio del Marqués de Miraflores in the same city, which marks his attempt to recapture the splendour of Spanish historical architecture.
He was the father of Rafael Gambra Ciudad (1920-2004) who became a philosopher, a secondary education official, a Carlist politician and a soldier. Eduardo Gambra Sanz died on 5 November 1964 at age 85 in Madrid.
