Oktober 1881, um 22 Uhr, in Henndorf am Wallersee, rund 15 Kilometer nördlich der Landeshauptstadt Salzburg, als jüngstes von vier Kindern zur Welt. Die Eltern sind Maria (geb. Langer) und Joseph Freumbichler. Die Schreibweise des Familiennamens variiert immer wieder. In Dokumenten und Chroniken findet man neben dem ursprünglichen „Freunbichler" auch „Freinbichler", „Freumbüchler" oder „Friembichler". Getauft wird das Kind nach römisch-katholischem Ritus auf den Namen „Johann Capistran"."
Translation: Johannes Freumbichler came into the world on 22 October 1881 at 22:00 o'clock in Henndorf, around 15 kilometres north of the city of Salzburg, the youngest of four children. His parents were Maria (née Langer) and Joseph Freumbichler. The notation of the family name varies over and over again. In documents and chronicles can be found next to the original "Freunbichler" also "Freinbichler", "Freumbüchler" or "Friembichler." The child was baptized by the Roman Catholic rites with the names Johann Capistran.
