Biography

French historian, sociologist, novelist, journalist (director from 1965 to 1969 of Paris Jour; editor of Paris Presse 1962-1965), and television producer and writer (1967-1983).

Frémontier married Michèle Lagneau, who was a Knight of the Legion of Honour, in 1997. He died on 7 April 2020 at the age of 89 due to COVID-19.
