Biography

French criminal, who was sentenced to death and executed.

He was a delivery driver. Abetted by his wife, Pierrette Vella, 22, he drowned his benefactress and adoptive mother, Mrs. Roussel, an 80-year-old widow, on 10 September 1950.

Pierrette was sentenced to twenty years hard labor. Forest was sentenced to death on 12 January 1951. He was executed by guillotine in Châlon-sur-Saône on 30 May 1951 at 4 a.m.
