German politician and philanthropist, and the daughter of industrialist Robert Bosch, the founder of Robert Bosch GmbH. Margarete grew up in Stuttgart, a neighbour of Clara Zetkin.

In Tübingen she studied political science and graduated in 1920 with a History dissertation about the economic conditions of social classes.

In the post-war period Margarete Fischer-Bosch joined the DVP, which later became the national association of the FDP in Baden-Württemberg. She was one of only four women representatives in the state parliament of Württemberg-Hohenzollern from 1950 to 1952. She was a member of the Economic and Social Committee and the Special Committee for the Land Reform Act. In 1955/56 she was Deputy Chairman of the Federal Committee for Social Policy of the FDP.

She died in Stuttgart on 19 January 1972, aged 83.
