Biography

French printer-publisher and philanthropist.

In 1964, he launched a campaign for the restoration of the great organ of the Chartres Cathedral, which through his help was restored and opened in 1971. In 1975, he founded the International Organ Festival of Chartres.

He died on 5 January 2001, aged 79.
