Biography
Franco-Italian system engineer who since 2009 has been colaborating with numerous European nations by providing information relating to more than 130,000 suspected tax evaders with Swiss bank accounts - specifically those with accounts in HSBC's (which is large UK-based international bank) Swiss subsidiary HSBC Private Bank.
In 2013, the Swiss authorities unsuccessfully attempted to extradite Falciani from Spain - where he lives under protection of the Spanish government.
