Biography

Pop singer and lyric vocalist, born to a Belgian father and a Sicilian mother, she also holds Canadian citizenship. Fabiano is the name of one of her Italian uncles, she chose it as her stage name and removed the final O. So Lara Fabian began to sing with her mentor, the author-singer-composer Rick Allison.

By 2012, she had sold more than 18 millions records across the world, particularly in Europe (she has been a superstar in Russia and the Ukraine for a few years) and in Quebec.

She lived with French singer Patrick Fiori, then with French guitarist Jean-Félix Lalanne. She had one daughter, Lou, with French film director Gérard Pullicino. In 2013, she married Gabriel Di Giorgio, a Sicilian.
