Biography

American musician, a singing star with his brother Phil ("The Everly Brothers"), known for close harmonies. The sons of country-western artists, they grew up with music and vocals.

At one time he was hooked on speed to the point where he was having hallucinations and insomnia. Given shock treatments, his weight dropped to 130 lb.

He had three marriages and divorces, four children and was moted for his sardonic sense of humour. Don Everly died on 21 August 2021 at home from a heart attack in Nashville, aged 84.
