Biography
American politician and lobbyist who served as a member of the Washington State Senate, representing the 42nd district from 2011 to 2021. Ericksen was the ranking member of the body's Energy, Environment, and Telecommunications Committee. In April 2019, he registered as a foreign agent to consult and lobby for the ex-Khmer Rouge official Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
Ericksen and his wife, Tasha, a high school teacher, had two daughters and lived in Ferndale, Washington. He died from complications related to COVID-19 on 17 December 2021 at the age of 52.
