G. H. Emmerich


German founder of the first Academy of Photography in Bavaria who also served as its first Professor of Photography. Emmerich was a trained photo dealer and maintained in Munich since 1890 a magazine for photographic equipment and utensils. He died in Munich on 19 October 1923, aged 53, from sepsis.
