French pastor and professor of philosophy and ethics at the Faculty of Protestant Theology of Paris, author of several books on theology, and a specialist on Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He was also influenced by the thought of Karl Barth. He died in La Roche-sur-Yon on 23 June 1996.
