Charles Dujarier


French surgeon at the Hospitals of Paris who was chief surgeon of the Boucicaut hospital and director of the anatomy amphitheatre of the Hospitals of Paris.

Dujarier is the designer of the eponymous bandage still used in the 21st century for the total immobilization of the upper limb. This splint holds the humerus and elbow to the body.

He died on 21 July 1931 in Paris at age 60.
