Biography

Norwegian revue and film actor and theatre manager. He worked for the revue theatre Chat Noir from 1934 to 1942, and then for the Edderkoppen Theatre. He was theatre manager at Chat Noir from 1950 to 1953.

Diesen was married to actress Kari Diesen (née Heide Steen). They had two children, lyricist and artist Kari Diesen and revue writer and TV host Andreas Diesen.

Ernst Diesen died on 14 November 1970, aged 57.
