Biography
American baseball player, a shortstop for the Anaheim Angels. DiSarcina was originally signed by the Angels on 6/01/1988 after being selected in the sixth round of the free-agent draft. An excellent player, DiSarcina earned his keep by first playing for Anaheim-affiliated minor league teams in Texas and Canada from 1988-1991 before being called up to the majors. In 1995 he was named to the American League All Star team despite being injured for a month at the beginning of the season. DiSarcina was also injured for the entire 1993 season.
