French stage actress who also appeared in the 1911 film, "Boubouroche," directed by Georges Monca.

Auguste Renoir painted two portraits of her. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec made her the figure in the corner of one of his most famous paintings, "Marcelle Lender Dancing the Bolero in 'Chilperic'" (Marcelle Lender dansant le pas du boléro dans "Chilpéric"), 1896.

She died in January 1941.
