Biography

French stage actress.

Discovered by the playwright Gaston Arman de Caillavet, she started on stage at the beginning of the 20th century and soon enjoyed great success.

Monna Delza triumphed in 1910 at the 'théâtre du Gymnase' in Henry Bataille's La Vierge folle (The Mad Madonna). She was chosen for the main female role of Édouard Bourdet's La Cage ouvert.

She married Count Christian Theodore Stéphane Godefroy Baudouin Patrimonio on 26 October 1914 in Évreux (Eure). He was killed in WWII on 2 September 1918.

She died in Paris from influenza on 5 May 1921, aged 38.
