Belgian Jesuit priest and mathematician of repute. He died in Barcelona, aged 55, on 4 November 1652.

He was the son of Jan-Karel sr., Lord of Rijmenam, and of Maria van den Wouwere. He was baptized the next day in Our Lady's Church."
