Biography
French banker, who spent his entire career at Crédit Lyonnais, a historic French bank. He joined the bank in 1948 and served as its president from 1982 to 1986.
Under the name of Jean-Pierre Barel, he was a member of the Steering Committee of the Socialist Party from 1971 to 1979.
He died on 22 July 2009 in Monaco.
