Biography

American basketball player, a forward with the Pistons and the Knicks. A member of the NBA 50th Anniversary Team, he won an NBA Championship in 1970 and 73 and was entered into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1983.

Debusschere was named head coach with Pistons, 1964-67, the youngest Head Coach in NBA history, and was General Manager for the Knicks, 1982-86. He died May 14, 2003 in NY, NY
