Source Notes
Date and place from internet biographies which list the year as 1946, however Sy Scholfield calculates the chart above for 1945 according to De Shields' statement about his Ascendant & Moon Sign ("'I'm a triple Capricorn,' he says. 'Sun, moon and rising sign, all Capricorn'") as quoted in a newspaper article: "ACTOR'S PRIMARY ROLE IS EXPANDING HIS WORLD," by Joe Adcock, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 24 December 1993, p. 5; and also on his website ("A triple Capricorn, Mr. De Shields is the ninth of eleven children born and reared in Baltimore, Maryland") [1].
