Biography

Dutch politician who served as Governor General of the Dutch East Indies (1926-1931) and as a Dutch minister for foreign affairs (1933-1937).

From 1919 to 1922 De Graeff was a Dutch Ambassador in Tokyo, and from 1922 to 1926 in Washington, DC.

He died on 24 April 1957, aged 84, in The Hague.
