Jean De Briac (1920)


French film, television and stage actor who appeared in 122 films between 1920 and 1962.

After obtaining American nationality in 1924 and officially changing his name to Jean Frederick De Briac, he married silent film actress Joan Arliss (1897-1989), widow of the actor, director and producer Romaine Fielding (1867-1927).

The couple had a daughter Marie Louise Naomi De Briac born on 15 May 1935 in Los Angeles.

Jean De Briac died on 18 October 1970, aged 79, in Los Angeles, California.
