Biography

American hobo king, homeless, a wandering nomad who "rode the rails," traveling by hitching rides on freight cars, begging or doing odd jobs for food.

He published the "Hobo Year Book" in 1938 and 1939. He was also an actor, known for "The Bridge of Sighs" (1915) and "The Arkansas Traveler" (1938).

He died on April 5, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
