Biography

American sci-fi writer whose first novel, "The Doomfarers of Coramonde" was published in 1977.

A middle child, he joined the Army in 1965 and saw combat in VietNam. Among the books he published were three based on the Star Wars movies. He and his wife had no children. He died February 11, 1996 of pancreatic cancer at his Arnold, MD home (date based on social security death index; one site gives February 18th).
