Biography
French supercentenarian, he was the Doyen masculin des Français, France's oldest man, from 16 June 1999 until his death on 3 April 2001 in Thouars at age 110 years, 242 days.
Daigneau became doyen when Théophane Rifosta died on 16 June 1999 at age 109. Daigneau, in turn, was succeeded as doyen by Raymond Abescat.
