Source Notes

Sy Scholfield quotes Suzanne Gargiulo, "Hans Conried: a biography" (McFarland, 2002), p. 10: "1917 ... Hans Georg Conried Jr. was born at 9:25 A.M. on April 15th. His birth certificate lists the date of his birth as April 14th. Hans Jr. and his family always gave the 15th as the correct date. No doubt the birth was recorded incorrectly." On 21 November 2016 a typo was corrected in this entry with the year changed from 1927 to 1917.
