American dancer, choreographer and opera director. He put on a Stravinsky ballet that the composer said was close to the best production ever done.

He was devastated when his dearest friend, Robert Moore, his time twin born on the same day, committed suicide in Chicago 9/17/1967, leaving no note, considering it the saddest event of his life.

Conrad died of pneumonia from AIDS, 11/25/1986, San Francisco, CA.
