Biography
American animator and film director, the first of Disney's Nine Old Men, the Walt Disney Company's core animators. Joining Disney in 1927, he was the only one to work on the origins of Mickey Mouse with Ub Iwerks. Clark did many scenes throughout the years, animating up until Lady and the Tramp. He moved into directing and made many animated featurettes and shorts.
He died of cancer on 12 September 1979, aged 71, in Santa Barbara, California.
