French keyboardist who with vocalist Muriel Laporte (later known as Muriel Moreno) formed Niagara, a French synthpop duo that achieved popularity both in France and Canada from 1985 to 1992. The band, known under the name L'Ombre jaune from 1982 to 1984, was formed in Rennes, France, in 1984. They were frequently compared to the UK duo Eurythmics.
