Dante Castro Arrasco (2011)

Peruvian fiction writer, journalist and teacher, he won the Casa de Las Américas Literary Award and the National Education Award, among others.

His stories mostly stand out for the gloomy, stark and direct air with which he deals with certain topics such as violence and the dirty war in Peru.

His works have been translated into German, Italian and Quechua. He is currently working as a Literature teacher. As a journalist he has worked for various newspapers and magazines in Lima and Latin America.
