Théophile Cart (circa 1927)


French Esperantist professor and linguist, sometimes referred to as "deuxième père de l'espéranto" ("the second father of Esperanto").

He died on 21 May 1931 in Paris, aged 76.

He appears as a character in Joseph Skibell's 2010 novel, A Curable Romantic.
