Biography

French electronics engineer and entrepreneur, and the inventor of the electronic lock (French: Digicode) which he patented in 1970. Bob was inspired by an episode of the cartoon 'Popeye the Sailor" called "What-No Spinach", released in 1936: the dial of an-old fashioned telephone to govern access to a refrigerator.

He died on 8 October 2007.
