Biography

Peruvian serial murderer and kidnapper, known by the alias Momon, attributed to 19 victims. In the nineties he led a self called criminal band "Momon and his henchmen" who specialized in committing their crimes using weapons of war (weapons of short and long range) and sophisticated communications equipment and stolen cars, and even possessed a property where they are hidden victims of kidnappings. On July 5, 1998 at 2:25 pm he was captured by the anti-kidnapping police after a strong armed confrontation. The police operation was surprised when he went to collect the ransom by businessman Paul Hermoza Mattos, who was rescued that day. The same year he was sentenced to life imprisonment by a military court (because their crimes were considered acts of terrorism), but the law authorizing such military trials was repealed and in 2003 this sentence was changed to 35 years It is serving since.
