Biography

Italian archaeologist and epigraphist, appointed in 1925 as head of Greek and Roman papyrology and antiquities at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, founded four years earlier in 1921. He taught Roman history there from 1928 to 1943. Aristide Calderini died on 15 September 1968 in Milan.
