Biography
American engineer and noted family, the son of Jean Gullo, who was the head of the Theosophical Order of Service. Born into a Theosophical family, he was raised, and remained all of his life, a vegetarian. Burckes served as a career officer in the U.S. military, and then retired. He soon after became the President of "Far Horizons," a Theosophical camp, and did all of the maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the camp himself. Later, Burckes worked as a real estate agent.
