Biography
Belgian realist painter and sculptor whose oeuvre mostly consists of portraits (more than 1000 paintings). Taught by Léon Bonnat, his portraits were generally of almost photographic accuracy. He died in Schaarbeek on 28 October 1963, aged 88.
