Biography
American race car driver who died as a result of injuries sustained on the track. Jimmy Bryan made a name for himself between the years 1952-1960 with 23 victories and several finishes in the top ten. In 1958 he won the Indianapolis 500 and in 1956 and 1957 USAC National Championship.
He died on 19 June 1960 at age 34 after crashing at the Langhorne Speedway near Philadelphia.
