Biography
Norwegian midwife considered a pioneer in Norwegian midwifery. She was an initiator of the spreading of sex information and birth control instructions to future midwives and married and unwed women. She travelled around the country and spoke about sex education and contraception at a time when these subjects were taboo. She was married to physician Arne Gram Bruusgaard.
Bruusgaard died on 22 September 2000 in Oslo. She was 90.
