Biography
American lawyer and politician, he served as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Before being elected as a Democrat representing a Republican District until he retired after five terms, John Broujos volunteered to serve in the U.S.M.C. during each of the Korean Police Action and the Vietnam Nam campaign as well as building a law practice. During the Korean exercise, John was awarded the Silver Star. He ultimately retired from the Corps as a Colonel. He was married with four children. He died on 8 July 2016, aged 87, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
