American doctor of divinity and minister of several Unitarian churches in Boston, and the subject of Alfred Manchester's 1901 book, “In Memoriam: Caleb Davis Bradlee, 1831-1897.”

It was on a Thursday, at 6.30 a.m., in a house on Avon Place, now Avon Street, where a part of the store of Jordan, Marsh & Company is now located."
