Biography
Italian explorer who sailed with Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld on the first voyage through the north-east passage, and later explored Tierra del Fuego and the Congo River. Suffering severely from illness, on 9 August 1887 Bove committed suicide in Verona at the age of 35.
